Who are Frank and Gertrude?
Long ago, Megan and her sister Liz were on an island on a lake in upstate New York. This island had two very special outhouses, one named Gertrude, and the other, Frank. Little did they know that they would one day become the namesakes for Megan's shop...

Do you use patterns?
Nope! Each and every Frank & Gertrude design is unique and original. We never quite figured out how to follow a pattern, so we make every new design from scratch and then make up a paper template later.

How should I clean my handmade sewn good?
All products should be spot cleaned with a damp, non-fuzzy towel. Do not machine wash or dry clean unless otherwise noted in the product description.

Do you make custom orders?
We love to make custom goods! Feel free to email us with your idea at frankandgertrude (at) gmail.com. We do, however, request payment when the item is ordered, and while we are happy to make variations of our own patterns, we will not reproduce someone else's design.
